The annual INDIE GAME AWARD is approaching their fourth year! previously, officials have announced the 22 finalists from 86 participating indie titles. Inviting professionals both within and outside of the gaming industry as judges, the final results will be announced on the opening day of TpGS on 25th January.
Asia’s largest indie game awards will be taking place next month at Taipei Game Show (TpGS). For the first time, over 180 participating indie game groups in both the B2B Zone “INDIE GAME FESTA” and the B2C Zone “INDIE HOUSE” simultaneously. To encourage and discover new talents in indie gaming, TpGS announces the 22 INDIE GAME AWARD finalists spreading over PC games, Console games, Mobile games, and VR!
The initial judging process has been completed and the second round is ongoing, with game advocates, media experts, developers, and publishers as judges looking closely at the design, story, art, and music as the main criteria. Finally, eight games will be selected for “Best Audio”, “Best Game Design”, “Best Innovation”, “Best VR Game”, “Best Mobile Game”, “Grand Prix”. The final results will be announced live at the Awards Ceremony on 25th January on site, all these games will be showcased at Taipei Game Show 2018 at the INDIE GAME FESTA.
