DMM’s popular web game and mobile game Touken Ranbu (刀剣乱舞) has revealed the previously hinted sword to be Dai Hannya Nagamitsu (大般若長光). His voice is provided by Shinichiro Miki.

“Oh, interested in works of art? Let me tell you more next time.”

The Tachi’s Kamon is composed of six coins, which is like a match with Dai Hannya Nagamitsu’s background story – its monetary value was six hundred kan in the Muromachi period. He belongs to the Osafure school of sword.

It was originally owned by Ashikaga Yoshiteru, followed by Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu. It is now kept by Tokyo National Museum.

In the game, he is a fan of art and all things beautiful, but he doesn’t spend much money usually. He also has a habit of talking about love.
