Nintendo has released an Overview Trailer for the upcoming Super Mario Odyssey.
Super Mario Odyssey is an open-world exploration-adventure which has Mario traversing all sorts of different kingdoms. Players will interact with different characters and solve different puzzles to solve quests. Each Kingdom also has their own currency and shops which will have items players can buy to dress up Mario.
In the new game, Mario can take over enemies with his hat, Cappy. Asides from overtaking enemies, Cappy allows Mario interact with different elements in the various kingdoms, from traveling through wires by turning into electricity, to bouncing off poles to reach greater heights.
The story this time Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach and forces her to marry him. Mario must now travel through different worlds on his hat shaped ship, Odyssey, to rescue the princess once again.
Super Mario Odyssey is due out 27th October for Nintendo Switch.
