Adapted from Hiromu Arakawa’s (荒川弘) hit manga of the same title, live action Fullmetal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師) shows all characters in a new trailer published today (4th October). The mysterious voice behind Alphonse Elric has also been revealed.
All characters can be spotted in this new video, including Tucker and Halcrow who have never been in any trailers before.
The voice for Alphonse Elric is revealed to be Atomu Mizuishi, a 21 year old stage actor famous for his role as Renji Yanagi in Musical Prince of Tennis 2nd Season.
The movie is coming on 1st December this year.
Fullmetal Alchemist was serialized in Monthly Shonen Gangan from 2001 to 2010. The story is set in a world where alchemy blossoms and prevails. The Elric brothers begin their journey to search for the Philosopher’s Stone after failing to revive their dead mother through alchemy, which causes the elder brother to lose an arm and a leg, and the other one to lose his entire body. Over 70,000,000 copies of the manga have been sold all over the world. It was even made into two series of TV anime and two anime films.
