Manga series Hunter x Hunter (ハンター×ハンター) is paused again! The news was announced in the 4th September issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. This is the ninth time it is suspended since its debut in 1998.
The 10-week serialisation began in June 2017. Before this return, it stopped running in July 2016. As for this time, mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi (冨樫義博) promised to be back approximately a year later.

Hunter x Hunter is set in a world where Hunters, a group of elites that are able to hunt down specific persons, beasts and treasures, exists. The story follows Gon, a young orphan who has spent most of his life living on a wild island. Upon knowing that his Hunter father is not dead, he leaves the island to look for him and eventually becomes a Hunter himself.
Nothing new here. Hiatus master wants to set a Guiness record.
