The new Brave Heroes have reached Fire Emblem Heroes! in celebration, Nintendo Mobile has just released a new TVCM features live-action versions of the newly released Brave heroes: Lucina, Roy, Ike and Lyn. The TVCM ends with one simple statement "Choose your hero and join the fight".

As previously mentioned, all players will get to choose one of the four new heroes for free, and with all the new Brave heroes being significantly strong, who will you pick? Here’s my order of priority:

1. Brave Lyn

Brave Lyn is the first ever playable bow knight in the game. The superior mobility makes her one of the best archers in the game. Her weapon Mulagir grants +3 speed and nullifies bonuses such as Fortify and Rally when against Magic Users.

Brave Lyn is an incredibly offensive player phase hero, with Draconic Aura (+30 Attack) and Swift Sparrow 2 (+4 attack and speed when initiating combat), Brave Lyn can easily charge in and wreck enemy units from afar. Sacae’s Blessing makes it so sword, lance, and axe units cannot counterattack Brave Lyn and Atk Smoke 3 inflicts -7 attack on foes within 2 spaces of the target after combat, this greatly raising her effectiveness in battles!

Not to mention, Picking Lyn for free avoids colorless hell…

2. Brave Ike

Brave Ike is a unique hero which destroys the current meta. His weapon Urvan reduces his special trigger by 1 and reduces consecutive attacks by a whopping 80%! Basically, Reinhard will not be able to take down Brave Ike in one turn, even with all the buffs and attack passives.

Brave Ike comes with the special Aether, which deals dmg to foes as if they have suffered -50% Defense/Resistance and recover 50% of the damage dealt. Not the best special for Brave Ike but that can easily be changed.

Steady Breath grants Ike +4 Def during combat when attacked, whilst adding one special charge. Combined with his Slot C skill Threaten Def 3 which reduces the defense of enemy units within 2 spaces by 5, Brave Ike potentially starts to prep during enemy phase (if he is attacked) to deal potentially massive amounts of damage in the following player turn.

In his Slot B, Brave Ike has Beorc’s Blessing which only works against flying and cavalry units. What this does is basically nullify bonuses from skills like Fortify and Rally during combat.

3. Brave Lucina

Brave Lucina is a great support unit for physical units. Her base defense stat at Lv. 40 is 27/30/33 (lowest/neutral/highest) which already makes her quite a sturdy support unit. Her weapon Geirskogul grants her +3 defense and grants allies with sword, lance, axe, bow, or dagger within 2 spaces an additional attack/speed +3 during combat further emphasizes her role as a sturdy support unit.

Brave Lucina comes with Drive Speed 2 which grants allies within 2 spaces +3 speed during combat. Combining this with her weapon effects, physical allies will benefit from immense speed increase.

Her special Aether and Sturdy Blow has its uses, but they are both interchangeable for other skills to make her a greater support beacon.

so why did she come third? Looks!

4. Brave Roy

Brave Roy is a red cavalier with some of the most impressive offensive capabilities. out of all the red cavaliers, Brave Roy has the highest base attack at 48/51/54 (lowest/neutral/highest). His weapon Blazing Durandal grants an additional +3 attack permanently and grants him +1 charge for his special each attack. Brave Roy comes with Galeforce which allows him to take another action and that means more damage during the player phase. Alongside Desperation 3 (if unit initiates combat with over 75% HP, follow-up attacks will occur), Roy can deal unbelievable amount of damage easily.

Brave Roy also comes with Steady Blow which grants +4 speed/defense during battle, this can be swapped out for more damage easily.

There’s my choice, who would you choose?
