Bandai Namco has announced that the closed beta for their upcoming Dragon Ball fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ, will officially start on 16th September and run until 18th September. The Closed Beta Sign-ups will begin on 22nd August.
Previously at EVO 2017, Bandai Namco announced that the Closed Beta Sign-ups will begin on July 26th. However, due to the sheer volume of excitement and anticipation, the company has decided to expand the capacity of the closed beta to allow for anticipating fans to participate in the beta.
The new sign-ups time will not affect Japan. The PS4 Closed Beta opened today. to sign up simply download the free application ticket here. Beta dates have yet to be announced for Japan.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is due out worldwide in early 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
