Key’s classic visual novel Little Busters! (リトルバスターズ!) is getting a new animation movie project for its 10th anniversary. The movie is currently raising funds on CAMPFIRE with a goal of 30 million yen.

The film Kud Wafter (クドわふたー) is based off Little Busters! adult spin-off of the same title. The story follows protagonist (players’ character) Riki Naoe and his life living in the school’s female dormitory with his girlfriend Kudryavka Noumi. This is Kud Wafter’s first anime adaption ever since its launch for PC in 2010.
If the project succeeds, the screenplay will be written by Key and produced at J.C.STAFF. Currently, fans living outside Japan are unable to fund the project, but a crowdfunding project made specially for overseas backers is currently in planning.
The movie is set for release in Fall 2019.
