Anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica’s mobile spin-off, Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story [Magia Record] (マギアレコード 魔法少女まどか☆マギカ外伝), will finally arrive in mid July after a postponement. The gameplay has been revealed in the latest introduction preview (VPN required).
The game by Aniplex and f4samurai consists of mainly three parts: story, team arrangement and battle. The main story revolves around the protagonist’s (players’ character) adventure while the spin-off story and the magical girls story focus on characters from the original anime.
In Magia Record, magical girls are lead to Kamihama Shi (神浜市) due to its strange power Doppel. Tamaki Iroha happens to be there to search for her sister. She and the other magical girls are then determined to find out the truth about this strange city.
