You may not know because things are pretty confusing in Sengoku Night Blood, especially the four color potions.

1. Every battle actually has different requirement for mission bonuses.

Every battle’s entrance has three stars that indicate different requirements for the three mission bonuses. One cannot advance much with just a static team.

Tap "詳細" to view each requirement before starting a battle.

For example, this area’s missions are: critical initiated once, win with three N rank members and win with a team that has over 72,000 power.

The other one’s are: win without any death, unit skill initiated once and win with three members from the Hideyoshi camp (豊臣).

So yes, the requirements vary A LOT. Players are strongly recommended to change their teams to farm more extra resources each time.

2. Team members that share a common trait perform better.

A team consisting of all members from the same camp gets 3% increase in attack.

A team consisting of all chibi style members has 5% increase in the chance of initiating skills.

A team consisting of members who like planting gets 5% increase in stats.

A team consisting of members who like reading gets 5% increase in stats.

A team consisting of brothers gets 5% increase in stats.

A team consisting of all generals gets 5% increase in attack.

A team consisting of a three-member "squad" gets 3% increase in stats.

A team consisting of healthy members gets 5% increase in stats.


A team consisting of members who hate fussiness and troubles gets 5% increase in stats.

A team consisting of members who have "graceful hobbies" gets 5% increase in stats.

3. Players have no control over skills.

The title is self explanatory. Each card has a skill that can be initiated at anytime in a battle, but the time is completely random. Players cannot decide how or when to use a skill.

4. Battling against others levels up the team only.

The advantage of battling against other players is getting a lot of experiences and levelling up fast – but only the team members. Players’ accounts do not get any experiences from this.

5. S and N rank cards cannot be awakened.

With that being said, only SR, UR and R can be awakened when intimacy reaches 100%.

6. After awakening, the intimacy can still be increased.

Players can increase intimacy up to 200%.

7. There is no formula for the perfect potion.

The red, yellow, blue and green potion can be mixed in any ways. The four colors do not represent the four stats respectively (speed, attack, defense and stamina). Creating a potion with just one color and creating a potion with multiple colors both increase the stats randomly.

When a result potion has a golden or dark purple cap, it is more effective. Again, it appears completely by chance.

8. Repetitive cards are not treated as a new card.

They get merged with the existing identical cards, giving the latter 10 more levels.

9. Only chibi cards have multiple stories.

All chibi cards have three stories. The normal cards, except for the N rank cards, have only one story even though the game calls that single story “the first chapter”. Of course, it is uncertain if the game will be updated and each card will have more than one story.

Each card, again, except for the S and N rank cards, gets a special story after awakening.
