Sanrio’s multimedia franchise Sanrio Boys (サンリオ男子) will release an anime series soon. The five main characters and their respective representative Sanrio characters are now unveiled in an preview video that was released today (23rd May).
Starting off as a manga and an otome game, Sanrio Boys centres on five high school boys who are obsessed with Sanrio characters. Hasegawa kouta is a fan of Pom Pom Purin. Mizuno Yuu is a fan of Melody. Contrary to his tough look, Yoshino Shunsuke likes Hello Kitty. Nishimiya Ryou and Minamoto Seiichirou are in love with Little Twin Stars and Cinnamoroll respectively.
